WANTED: Advisors!!
|
Although DeMolay is a youth organization that allows the members to run the chapter on their own, DeMolay would not exist without the advisors.
Before a chapter meeting can open for business, an advisor must be present. Before an event can begin, an advisor must be present. This is to ensure that the activities remain safe and successful.
No matter how many advisors a chapter has, there is an unlimited amount of room for more. Advisors take part in overseeing projects such as fundraising, membership recruiting, honors and awards and even fun activities like sporting events.
In addition to a successful membership recruitment program, each chapter should also have a successful advisor recruitment program. This can be done by attending and advertising at Masonic meetings, implementing a parents club, or even by posting signs and fliers asking for help in the organization.

If you, or someone you know is interested in becoming an advisor for DeMolay, contact the District Governor, or another District Representative.
DeMolay is always in need of Advisors to teach and listen to the members. Without you, DeMolay would not survive.
