Fundraising for the Chapter

In Order for a chapter to run smoothly, it must have money. Money to pay bills, to fund activities and even to buy items for the chapters such as awards and lodge equipment. Many times the Parent's Club will aid the chapter in these kinds of expenses by holding special fundraisers.

Of course on items such as rent or other activities, it is important to make sure the guys plan their own fundraising events to teach them responsability and planning skills, but good items for a Parent's Club to fundraise for could include items such as awards, refreshments for after the meetings, or even raising money to pay for repairs on damaged robes or other equipment used by the chapter.

A Parents Club can do any number of fundraising ideas to help the members raise money. Ideas include, but are not limited to:
  • Garage Sales
  • Carwashes
  • Bake Sales
  • Asking for Donations
  • Dinners
  • Talent Shows
  • Candy Sales

Raising extra money to aid the chapter will not only allow the members to use the money they raise for events and bills, but it will also push them to hold their own fundraisers without having to worry about rasing extra money to pay for the everyday maintenance done in the chapter.
